Project Manager - Engineering & Building Co. EBCO (BITAR)
The Project Manager is responsible for overall project planning and scheduling, resource allocation, project accounting and control while providing technical direction and ensuring compliance with quality standards.
1 Brings optimum utilization of resources, labor and materials and ensures their procurement;
2 Ensures that appropriate information flows smoothly among key stakeholders;
3 Oversees the construction project from start to finish;
4 Handles all letters and correspondences with the Consultant, Client Rep, and Subcontractors;
5 Develops the objectives/goals of each and assign team member responsibilities;
6 Develops and maintains client relationships;
7 Coordinates with procurement department to ensure the final delivery of equipment/goods to site;
8 Maintains strict adherence to the budgetary guidelines, quality and safety standards;
9 Manages the budgets, tracks expenses and minimizes exposure and risk in the project;
10 Reviews and evaluates plans, sets performance requirements;
11 Performs a key role in project planning, budgeting, and identification of resources needed;
12 Ensures project documentation is well maintained and easily accessible;
13 Identifies changes in scope to secure appropriate change orders;
14 Ensures that construction activities move according to predetermined schedule;
15 Monitors the progress of the construction activities on a regular basis and holds regular status meetings;
16 Monitors productivity to ensure maximum time and cost efficiency of the Site labor force;
17 Prepares periodic status reports, including updated cost and planning forecasts;
18 Ability to manage a team and resolve disputes;
19 Coordinates and cooperates with colleagues and other departments;
20 Communicates effectively with sub-contractors responsible for completing various phases of the project;
21 Performs other related duties as required.
