Accountant (Accounts Payable) - Fawaz Trading & Engineering Services Co. W.L.L.
Accounts Payable Accountant (7 Years’ Experience, Age not more than 30)
Must be Arabic Speaker and his IQAMA Should Be Transferable
- Control and supervision of Purchase Department
- Review and sign the purchase orders and make sure it is compatible with the policies and budgets and it belongs to one of the approved sales or approved projects
- Review supplier invoices and invoice price matching with approved purchase orders
- Working together with the treasury accountant in preparing payment requests for suppliers and preparing applications for opening documentary credits on time and according to the timing of payment specified in the purchase orders
- Ensure that payments to suppliers are timely and verify the payment attachments (invoice, purchase order, quality report, and receipt report) are attached.
- Apply financial and accounting policies to suppliers’ management and cooperate with the procurement department to develop relationships with suppliers
- Follow up the signing of checks from the direct manager and hand over the checks to the beneficiaries and ensure that the procedures are followed.
- Match the balances of the suppliers monthly and verify any differences and submit them to the direct supervisor
- Joint work with the cost accountant in determining the costs of procurement and drawing up the necessary reports.
- Joint work with the financial accountant to record and confirm the recording of payments and invoices in the ERP system
- Monitor and report on the credit limit of suppliers
- Participate in the preparation of annual estimated budgets
