This Lead of Mechanical and Functional Testing is responsible for implementation of engine mechanical and functional testing, durability testing and support in mass production issues in order to deliver a durable and highly reliable engine and engine systems within CTQ parameters and as per defined targets.
The lead is responsible of leading and guiding team members in all aspects of mechanical and functional requirements of engines and its components or subsystems. He is also responsible for transfer of know how on testing standards and procedures, best industry practice as well as legal requirements, linking into design and simulation for full feedback to the relevant team members.
By his in-depth knowledge of engine systems and technologies and the related functional processes and industry best practice he is capable to guide a self-dependent team in all aspects. This role holder also understands and works on future technologies and hereby supports the HOS in making strategies and implementing it in various projects.
