Payroll Assistant - Gastronomica Careers

With Gastronomica’s expansion into the GCC, we are now requiring a talented Payroll Assistant to join our team based in Kuwait. Working closely with the Payroll Officer, this is a great opportunity for you to grow and build your Human Resources skills.

Reporting into the Payroll Officer, your responsibilities will include

  • Supporting the HR Department in providing high quality, proactive, accurate service which meets business needs and corporate objectives.
  • To serve as the custodian of the organization’s culture and value systems and its translation across the organization.
  • Assisting with payroll, process necessary deductions, calculate end-of-service benefits and leave entitlements in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Coordinating and assisting with the payroll functions and month end consolidation/processing support as required.

To be successful in this role, you would have worked as a HR Administrator within the GCC and have an understanding of Restaurant operations. Your strong understanding of payroll systems and human resources functions and process are essential. As is your intermediate knowledge of word and excel. You will be a highly organized, planned and dynamic person who has the ability to adapt quickly to any given situation. Your confident verbal communication together with your excellent written communication will be highly regarded.
