VDS Technical Server Engineer
System Integration Engineer will define and integrate any signal requested by a feature or a function with Infotainment & Electrical.
The VDS tech server engineer needs to also ensure that the DLT logging requirements are also met.
Any issues that are raised with respect to the server or the transmission from the P-Sim to the Server will be investigated by the Tech server specialist.
There will be a number of vehicles running with P-Sims within internal fleet.
If any technical issues arise with respect to the upload of datapackets from the P-sim to the offboard server VDS Tech Server Specialist will investigate ground zero first before assigning to TCS / STC.
VDS Tech server engineer will also design bespoke dashboards required by the various Triage teams / FMS / Management inc.
FEU launch issues.
VDS Tech server will then ensure that the VDS datapackets transition to the offboard server.
The tech server needs the understanding of the following programmes: Python, SQL, R & platforms such as Jira and Gitlab.
Tech server should have an awareness of the connected car automotive domain.
Ensure all security protocols are at an automotive grade and comply with GDPR VDS Tech server will also support any 'client' queries from Triage Dept. and FMS, Management with regards to any dataset requested.
VDS Engineer will support the technical delivery of the pre-production VDS / DLT logging OTA domain and then transition to the delivery of Production intent domain server.
