    Human Resources Generalist - Al Mana

    Role Objective:


    To manage and direct all human resources activities of the division, ensuring that the HR objectives and business strategy of the company are reflected in the HR processes and that they are delivered in a professional and proactive manner. Adhere to HR standards and deliver employee-focused HR services in compliance with HR leading practices, government regulations, labour laws, management requirements and HR policies and procedures.


    Detailed Roles and Responsibilities:


    Financial:


    • Implement and contribute to the development of HR strategies for attracting, developing, motivating and retaining employees as set by Management and General Manager Human Resources (GM – HR) • Assist in establishing and achieving HR Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the division and monitor their achievement on a periodic basis


    • Manage efficient and consistent employee relations and escalate issues to GM HR as per set policies


    • Prepare the division HR annual budget in consultation with and for the review of GM – HR and Operations Manager and report/seek approval for variances on a timely basis


    • Work with Group Recruitment Department and Managers to ensure hiring ‘best-in-class- talent’ to facilitate achievement of business objectives


    • Work closely with the PRO to ensure that all government relations processes are implemented in a cost-effective and timely manner


    Customer:


    • Build and maintain strong and effective relationships with division employees and departments to meet company objectives


    • Assist in defining the HR goals of the Division in collaboration with the Operations Manager and GM - HR. Provide appropriate recommendations in areas of employment, recruitment, compensation and benefits, talent management, training and organization development


    • Be responsible for employee engagement and wellbeing and work to provide a supportive work environment


    • Ensure staff requests are attended to and processed in a timely and accurate manner


    Internal Business Processes:


    • Evaluate the effectiveness of HR policies and procedures and conduct periodic internal checks for compliance


    • Ensure that all divisional HR activities comply with relevant Labour laws and regulations, and company ethical standards in the countries of operation.


    • Escalate legal and compliance matters to GM - HR for consultation with Operations Manager and General Counsel


    • Understand the division’s resourcing requirements and communicate those to the Group Recruitment Department. Conduct interviews with incumbents to fill job vacancies within the Company in coordination with the line managers and complete candidate evaluation reports, providing recommendations for hiring


    • Monitor on a regular basis all employee movements and headcount, including recruitment, terminations and resignations, transfers, promotions, replacements, etc. ensuring they are in line with the approved HR budget and policies


    • Manage the performance appraisal process for the division under the guidance of the Operations Manager and GM - HR


    • Manage employee relations and act as point of contact for employee questions and grievances, understanding local employment legislation, compliance requirements and changes impacting the workforce, and providing advice and information to managers relating to all aspects of employment


    • Analyze and report attrition trends across the division and make concrete suggestions in order to increase retention of talent and key employees


    • Support organizational design and change management initiatives as directed by Group Human Resources Department


    • Oversee the administration of health insurance benefits and ensure the accurate and timely processing of the same


    Learning and Growth:


    • Assist in the development of communication to employees and facilitate training of managers and employees on new programs, systems and processes as required


    • Build and maintain strong and effective relationship with all other related units to achieve the Department’s goals/ objectives


    • Communicate with line management regularly to coach and guide them on their fundamental role in managing employee human resources matters
