Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Consultant - King Fahad Medical City
Rehabilitation Hospital at King Fahad Medical City, is looking for hiring Consultants in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Rehabilitation Hospital at KFMC is the largest Ministry of Health Rehabilitation Hospital in the region, attached to a tertiary care facility and caters patients from all over the Kingdom. Our physicians are involved in interdisciplinary inpatient and outpatient services including acquired brain injury, spinal cord injury, pediatric rehabilitation, limb loss services, general rehabilitation, spasticity management, pain management, intrathecal baclofen pump management and musculoskeletal rehabilitation services. Our physicians are also involved in research, residency program and have opportunities for continued professional development.
Job Summary:
To provide specialized services for the diagnosis and management of patients with disability under the scope of service of the Rehabilitation Hospital.
Principal Duties:
1. Preforming the professional duties of as Specialist in accordance with the delineation of the scope of care and privileges as recommended by the Chief of department and approved by the Credentialing committee.
2. Performing his/her duties in the outpatient clinic according to CPP of KFMC OPD.
3. Providing the needed dental care to his/her patients in the dental clinic.
4. Performing the needed procedures according to the privileging.
5.Providing consultation services to the in and out patient services in his/ her area of expertise.
6. Sharing in the on-call duties as per the duty Schedule according to KFMC CPP.
7. Supervising the work of the assistant and/or associtae consultants, professional development of the junior dentists. and interns, and provides his/her evaluation of their work at the request of the Chief of Service.
8. Assuring performing dental documentation and charting in a legible and professional way and to supervise the documentation of the rest of the team.
9. Working closely with colleagues.
10. Communicating clearly and effectively with colleagues and patients.
Education Requirement :
Graduate of MBBS from an approved Medical School
Trainings:
- w/ one (1) year internship in a recognized training program
- Completed the residency training and Hold the Saudi Board Certificate or its equivalent (e.g Arab Board, American Board, Canadian Board)
Experience Required:
minimum of 3 (three) years experience in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation
