Financial Analyst (Female only) - Green Umbrella


An experienced Female Financial Analyst with basic secretarial work to provide day to day support to the Chairperson of a leading Group of Companies in Oman

Summary of the Job Role:

The ideal candidate for this position is a selfstarter who can work well in a fast-paced environment. Apart from strong knowledge on analyzing financial data-based information to assist Chairperson to make well informed decisions and monitor financial movements, candidate should have preliminary knowledge on secretarial work.

Key Outputs:

- Financial Data Analysis - Analysing financial data & performance reports to provide creative alternatives and recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance - Identify trends and recommend actions based on sound analysis - Drive process improvement - Supporting the Chairperson on New business / projects feasibility reports and forecasted financial statements. - Work closely with senior managerial and staff for obtaining information as required by Chairperson. - Providing daily updates to Chairperson on assigned tasks - General administrative support

- Office Administration/Secretarial - Devising and maintaining office systems, including data management and filing, Calendar management, Meeting Arrangements - Prepare agenda, draft minutes, Office management etc.


Bachelor's degree in Commerce with CFA or equivalent degree in finance field is desirable.

Skills/Knowledge: - Guides cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures; providing trends and forecasts; explaining processes and techniques; recommending actions. - Recommends actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; studying proposed changes in methods and materials. - Increases productivity by developing automated accounting applications; coordinating information requirements. - Protects operations by keeping financial information confidential. - Proficient in spreadsheets, databases and MS Office - Outstanding presentation, reporting and communication skills - Highly organised and methodical - Effective oral and written communications skills. - Ability to manage stress with effective time management - Well informed in financial subjects, accounting and business environments.

Experience: - Minimum of 8 years' experience in relevant field
