Commercial Controller SEA - Fircroft
Lead and manage the Finance Department and its functions across ASIA
Manage financial accounting and management accounting practices including the annual budget and reforecasts.
Formulate financial policies and strategy and advise management accordingly.
Provide project financial reporting in addition to departmental financial reporting.
Ensure internal financial controls are maintained and enhanced.
Manage the audit and procurement functions.
Ensure regional reports are completed on time and to the appropriate group standard by working closely with Accounting Manager.
Be the point of contact and communication for all accounting and financial matters between Fircroft SEA and UK Head Office.
Manage and coordinate any areas of concern between UK Head Office and the region, in a clear, professional and timely manner.
Provide advice and assistance to Regional Director and country/ business managers to ensure fiscal compliance for existing and new cross border business proposals such that this can be included in commercial proposals. This includes items such as VAT, WHT, Corporate Income Tax and new possible areas of business.
Assist Regional Director and Finance Director in suggesting, planning, and implementing tax efficiencies for regional business transactions.
Assist in the preparation of new tenders and contracts.
Coordinate budgets and sales forecast reviews on a periodic basis, within specific time frames and to required level of detail.
Ensure efficiency of contractor payroll processes.
Ensure that companies end or year accounts are audited in accordance with individual country practices and head office parameters.
Advise Company regarding withholding tax and VAT and administration accordingly.
Involve in the sourcing of financing or funding for the business and as directed by Head Office.
Visit clients as required for any invoicing, payment, credit control or other associated matters.
Advise Regional Director of any regional inter-office business opportunities.
Undertake regional travel and globally as required and in line with business needs.
Assist Regional Accounting Manager to manage and guide the accounting team as well as develop the company’s accounting and financial reporting systems.
