Start up and Commissioning Engineer waste water Qatar - Progressive Global Energy
On behalf of a client within the water treatment and energy sector, I am in need of 2 Start up and Commissioning Engineers (RO) who come from process background to support the Start up, Commissioning and O&M activities on the WWTP plant in Qatar
The client in question is currently looking for 2 Start up and Commissioning Engineers to start December 1st.
Job:
Start-up and commissioning Engineer with O&M background, Qatar:
Qualification:
Bsc of Chemical engineering. - Minimum 10-years of experience in water treatment. - Has a Track record of experience in (RO unit, DAF units, Extended Aeration process, Oily water treatment) - It is highly recommended to have a record with Water Treatment companies before as an employee or on outsourced basis. - Should be physically able to work at site in the Gulf area.
Roles:
a) Participate in operating and maintaining process operations up to acceptable designed standard and transfer of water-treatment know-how knowledge to Company operations b) Participate in performance testing of the RO units, DAF units; c) Provide advice to Company Operations staff on the daily operation of water treatment facilities d) Monitor the performance of the equipment and process unit and provide advice and information to Company operations to ensure compliance with performance specifications e) Review laboratory test results and provide instruction for any process parameter corrections and adjustments of chemical dosing rates e) Assist and advise with optimization of chemicals - carryout tests with chemicals from other suppliers and initiate and study tests to reduce usage of chemicals f) Provide advice to Company Production team where and when deviations from the design basis are envisaged; particularly during shutdown, upstream process upsets, etc. noting that water treatment facilities are the furthest downstream units through the entire offshore/onshore process and will be impacted by any non-routine activities.
